MGMWireless announces MMS support for messageyou™
ADELAIDE, Australia, May 5, 2003 - MGMWireless Pty. Ltd. announced today development of Multimedia Messaging (MMS) functionality for its flagship messageyou product.
MMS support will enable messageyou ™ customers to send full colour pictures, audio and multimedia message presentations to a mobile audience. Combined with Premium SMS, messageyou can be configured to receive an Premium SMS request for additional information, and then automatically reply with an MMS to the mobile phone.
"This is particularly useful for industries such as Real Estate", said Peter Quilliam, MGMWireless national sales manager. "Prospective property purchasers may be driving past a property for sale that interests them and request pictures and further information by way of MMS.
The Buyer sends an SMS to the premium SMS number displayed on the property bill board (which will cost the Buyer a fee) and messageyou automatically performs a database lookup to find the images relating to the property and replies with MMS pictures and a presentation of the property to the Buyer's mobile phone."messageyou will automatically store the Buyer's mobile number for future follow-up by the Agent.
MGMWireless expects to release MMS support for messageyou in Q3, 2003.
